"You screamed the bridge and I cried the verse, and our chorus came out unrehearsed."

The words came out in a squeak as he pushed one headphone aside to hear the words being spoken to him, surprise in his features. "I'm not interesting." He promised, clicking a few times on the screen of his computer, fingers flying across keys as a line of code appeared in black across an otherwise white screen.
The screen went blank, and he turned in his chair, spinning to the side to face the newcomer encroaching into his space. All around him were stacks of books and CDs, cluttered, but still organized despite the sheer amount of literature lining the walls. Entire series sat in neat blocks, piled high. Nothing appeared to be towering or at risk of falling over, at least. "I..." He frowned, as if he wasn't sure where to start. "My parents died in a car crash when I was really young, I don't remember them at all." He began, awkwardly rubbing at the back of his neck and pulling his lower lip into his mouth, catching it between his teeth. "My grandma raised me for a little while, but then when she passed, I was in foster care until I turned eighteen." The long string of words made him uncomfortable, as if he wasn't used to talking so much at once. With a gentle urging, he continued on. "I started out in New Mexico. My parents and grandparents were there. Somehow, I ended up in Tennessee. I like it better here. It's not so hot. More musicians come here to play, and I can go to a lot of concerts..." He trailed off, glancing back to his computer screen. An instant message was blinking in the lower left hand corner, and it looked like it took quite a bit of effort for him not to answer it. Instead, he tore his gaze from the screen, studying the newcomer once again. "What do I like?" He frowned, as if the question were odd. "I... I don't know? I like my computer. It's safe behind the screen, I can code and write without ever having to leave my room. I... I really don't like talking about myself... Can we be done, now?" He glanced back to the blinking message, another smattering of lines appearing in the short time he hadn't answered. FUN FACTS DOMINANT HAND: left
